7 Out Of Every 10 Homeowners Are Under The Age 35!
While 66 percent of Turkish people are buying homes, 50 percent are looking at the convenience of accessing the workplace. Citizens who start from the neighborhood where they live in the first place to search for housing are searching the most from the internet. While 75 percent of first-time homeowners are under the age of 35, the duration of home searches is 12 weeks. The proportion of two or more property buyers is 66 percent.
The Turkish people, who have decided to invest in the real estate, are starting to live in the neighborhood they are looking for. 66 percent of the citizens who give great importance to the demographic structure of their neighborhoods are looking for houses in accordance with this criterion and 50 percent of them are looking for houses according to their accessibility to the workplace. For the first time, 75 percent of households are made up of people under the age of 35, while the period of purchase is spreading for 12 weeks. Most research is done on the internet. ERA Turkey Real Estate Director Ufuk Şevki, evaluating the real estate purchasing process of the Turkish people, shared the results of the research.
Shavki gave the following information: "We see that more than 50 percent of the potential customers who tend to buy are looking for real estate. 33 percent of the buyers are home-bought for the first time, and 66 percent have a second or more property purchasing experience. According to the survey, for the first time, 75 percent of households are made up of buyers under 35 years of age. Buyers are looking for an average of 12 weeks' home, 40 percent of purchasers have internet, 33 percent are consultants, 5 percent are construction companies, and 1 percent is a written media agency. 66 percent of the Turkish people who give great importance to the demographic structure are looking for houses in accordance with this criterion from the appropriate districts and 50 percent according to their suitability for reaching the workplace. One of the factors affecting 30 percent is schools in the region. The decision-making ratio of the buyers according to the public transport is 10 percent. As a result of the rapidly rising real estate market, 95 percent of households are looking for fixed-rate home loans while 33 percent of those wanting to buy a house are buying because they want to own a house and 33 percent want to buy a bigger house.
