Within the scope of the “Housing Account and State Contribution” initiative launched to support non-homeowners, 7 thousand people opened housing accounts in the banks. According to the statement of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, the amount of money accumulated in the framework of the application including the state contribution for the first time to 15 thousand liras will reach 28 million liras.
Within the scope of the “Housing Account and Government Contribution” initiative for non-homeowners to support housing purchases, the money accumulated in the bank accounts opened by 7 thousand people in the last 4 months reached 28 million TL.
Support for granting state contributions for 15 thousand liras over the appropriation allocated by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy for the first time will be implemented as of 26 August 2016 under the “Regulation on Housing Account and Government Contribution” published on 26 February 2016.
According to the information gathered by journalists from the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, 7,000 citizens opened housing accounts during the four months since the start of the “Housing Account and Government Contribution”. The amount of money accumulated in the accounts opened in 11 banks reached 28 million liras.
With the application of “housing account and state contribution”, it is aimed that Turkish citizens who are not a residence of their own will support the first and only purchase of houses in the country.
