Agreed on Turkey’s Biggest Project

The biggest urban transformation project of Turkey is being planned for Antalya-Santral region. The project will be realized on an area of 1 million 300 thousand m2. For the first step of the related project; the completion of the apartments which belongs to the rightsholders is targeted. The urban transformation project involves the 19.000 housings, cultural areas, health facility areas, offices and commercial areas. The project works with recycle method in all processes. Excavation which is retrieved from the land will be recycled for the project. Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Sur Yapı will cooperate for the project. There will also be 860.000m2 green spaces in this project. The forests in the project areas will be protected and used for the landscape. On the other side; a living area for the street animals will be created.

First Step of the Project will be Completed in 2019

The 5.000 right holders’ houses will be transformed and delivered until 2019. The other housing of the project is going to be completed in 8 years. Sur Yapı chairman of the board Altan Elmas made some explanations about the urban transformation project in Antalya Kepez Santral Mahallesi. Elmas said that there are many projects belongs to Sur Yapı in a lot of areas of Turkey but now Antalya Kepez Santral Mahallesi urban transformation project is the most exciting one for Sur Yapı. Elmas also said: “This project will not be realized as only building transformation; this project is a real urban transformation.”
