Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek revealed the date of government support to citizens who would like to become a homeowner.
Depity Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek who is responsible for economy revealed that, they get the final stage regulations related to “housing account” for the ones who would like to become a homeowner. Şimşek also revealed that the first government support will be paid in 2019.
Minister Şimşek reminds that the “housing account” implementation which has a place in 64. Government Course of Action revealed by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu is one of the commitments that are going to be actualized in 3 months and we are still working on regulations for this implementation.
Şimşek who said they are at the final stage of outline regulation continued his words “regulation outline was serviced to related institutions and organizations and it is planning to be forwarded to prime ministry.”
Şimşek also said that “according to arranging housing account, participants must be a citizen of Turkey and mustn’t have any house to be able to open an account. They also have to open an account at deposit or participation banks and have to do regular payments to related accounts for 3 years until the date of getting house. The government is going to give maximum %20 contribution of total saved money to participants who provide the appropriate conditions. Any participant has to save at least 15.000 Turkish Liras to be able to get government support and this amount is going to be risen with revaluation rate. Government support is going to be paid from appropriation which is put ministry budget for this aim and it will be transferred to rights-holder via any bank which owner has an account.”
He also stated that “the cost of this implementation to government is changeable because it is going to be determined according to demand that is going to be created. When it is considered that one have to do regular payment for three years to deserve government support in the system that is going to begin in 2016, first government support is going to be provided to participants in 2019.”
