Construction Sector expanded %1,7 in the last quarter of 2015

According to “Turkish Construction Sector Raport”, Turkish Economy has expanded %5,7percent and construction sector %5,4 percent in the last quarter of 2015. While the National Economy has expanded %4 percent in 2015, construction sector which is seen as a leading sector for Turkish Economy, has expanded %1.7 percent in 2015.
Building Information Center(YEM) expained the first quarter of 2016 data by uptading last quarter data of “Turkish Construction Sector Raport 2015”.

According to Turkish Counstruction Sector Raport, Turkish Economy has expanded %5,7percent and construction sector %5,4 percent in the last quarter of 2015. While the National Economy has expanded %4 percent in 2015, construction sector which is seen as a leading sector for Turkish Economy, has expanded %1.7 percent in 2015.

Public Construction Expenses which has an important role in growing of Construction Sector has expanded %8,4 percent in 2015 by comparison to previous year. It is thought that among the reasons why the Public Construction expenses especially has grown so much in the last three quarter is the two elections that had been made at the second half of 2015.

At the same time, Private Sector Constrcution expenses has reduction %1,2 percent in 2015.Total Construction Expenses have reached 175 billion Turkish Liras in 2015 and expanded %7,8 percent in comparison to previous year. The biggest percentage of increasing Construction expenses is the rising of public constrcution expenses.
