Daily Rental Houses in Istanbul Were Punished

In Istanbul, criminal penalties were imposed on real estate agents and property owners who used to house the daily houses used by criminal organizations. In the first 3 months of the year, 210 thousand daily rentals were closed to 550, while property owners and property owners were given 2 million 22 thousand 501 Turkish lira fines.

The Istanbul Security Directorate, which is mainly used by terrorist organizations and prostitution gangs for daily rented houses, has practiced in 39 provinces.


In practice, 550 residents of 210 residences rented in 39 provinces in the first three months of 2017 were closed. 283’de sanctions applied to the owners of the venue was given 2 million 22 thousand 501 lira. 193 home-related transactions were recorded. Of the daily houses, 179 were registered in the system in the form of ‘place to stay’, so no action was taken on these addresses.

The daily rented houses were not found in Adalar, Çatalca, Sarıyer, Bağcılar, Başakşehir, Ümraniye, Eyüp, Sultangazi, Beykoz and Üsküdar. Pendik, 395 illegal rented house with the largest number of daily rental apartment came forward as the county. In the meantime, while 308 of the rental houses were being sealed, administrative procedures were carried out about 41 houses. It was noted that 44 of the 305 rented houses in Esenyurt were closed, 10 of them were registered to the system, and 251 houses continued to operate.
