Date for the Canal Istanbul project is Given!

Speaking at the "Turkey-Serbia Business Forum", President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave a date for the Canal Istanbul project.

Erdogan stated that they are aiming to be one of the 10 biggest economies in the world and continued: "We are continuing our large scale projects and investments without internal and external turbulence." Kanal Istanbul project will be a base of 2018
 
Erdogan said, "We call it 'Canal Istanbul', especially the opening of a new channel parallel to the Istanbul Bosphorus and and I hope that this will probably be the basis for this year or 2018."
