Increase in Hedonic Price Index

Hedonic housing price index in March increased by 1.12 percent over the past month and reached 201.14.

Turkey Rebuplic Central Bank has accounted Hedonic Housing Price İndex datas in March 2017 period.

Hedonic Housing Price İndex is calculated by controlling observed features of houses in the course of time and calculated for pursuing the price changes purified from quality factor. Hedonic Housing Price İndex in March increased by 1.12 percent over the past month and reached 201.14. It increased by 11.39 percent over the past year's similarly month and it increased at same period by 0.09 percent as real .

When we evaluate the 3 big cities Hedonic Housing Price Indexes in March 2017 ,in Istanbul it increased by 0.60 percent ,in Ankara it increased by 097 percent and in Izmir it increased by 1.15 percent. Index values over the past year's similarly month in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir reached respectively 10.95, 10.02 and 15.48.

In March Housing Price Index increased by 1.12 percent over the past month and reached 233.74. Hosing Price Index increased by 13.34 percent over the past year's similarly month.

Unit prices calculated housing value per square meter reached 1965 TL in March. In February 2017 unit prices were at the 1943 TL level.

New Housing Price Index increased by 1.32 percent over the past month and reached 224.23. New Housing Price Index increased by 12.67 percent over the past year's similarly month .

When we examine 3 big cities unit prices calculated housing value per square meter, in Istanbul it is 3.687 TL,in Ankara it is 1630 TL and in Izmir it is 2341 TL .

In terms of yearly percent changes in hedonic housing price index , the highest change is recorded in Balıkesir and Çanakkale and the lowest change is recorded in Mardin,Siirt and Şırnak in March.
