EVA Real Estate Appraisal Consultancy Inc. announced the September 2016 report of Periscope Analysis, which is held every month by the real estate sector. According to the report, in the last one year as of August, the cumulative change in housing loans has increased by 9%.
Evaluating Periscope Analysis in September 2016, EVA Real Estate Appraisal General Manager Cansel Turgut Yazıcı stated that as of the end of August 2016, total residential sales in Turkey decreased by 2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and that the sales of mortgaged housing decreased by 15 percent.
Decreasing In Istanbul, Ankara And Izmir
Cansel Turgut Yazıcı said housing sales, which increased by 18% in 2014 compared to the same period in 2015, showed an increase of about 16% in 2014 compared to the same period in 2016 as of August 2016. Recalling that housing sales in Istanbul decreased by 8% in 2015 compared to the same period in 2016, Yazıcı noted that the decrease rate is 11% in Ankara and 2.3% in İzmir.
According to Periscope Analysis, it is considered a positive indicator for Turkey that the size of the following loans in the total loan volume does not grow at the same rate as the credit amount.
