Railway Comes To Kağıthane And Eyüp

The construction of Haliç-Blacksea Sahra Rote that was planned to be done in the First World War years has become a current issue in IBB Council (Istanbul Metropolitian Municipality).

The project which has been finished in order to bring the rest part of the historic Haliç-Kemerburgaz-Blacksea Beach Rail Road in the counties of Kağıthane and Eyüp has been made in reality.

THE PLAN HAS BEEN APPROVED

In Istanbul the project which has been completed in order to bring the rest part of the historic Haliç-Kemerburgaz-Blacksea Beach (Dekovil) Rail Road in the counties of Kağıthane and Eyüp has been made in reality. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has approved the offer about the 1/5000 scaled zoning plan change including the rest of the parts in Kağıthane and Eyüp counties for rail way project.

The 5.th sitting of the meeting of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipal council in the month of June took place in the metropolitan municipality building in Saraçhane.

THAT LINE WILL BE REBUILT

The rebuilding of Haliç-Blacksea Sahra line which was completed in the First World War times in order to meet the demands of energy has been a current issue in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipal Council. The report that include the offer about the 1/5000 scaled zoning plan change including the rest of the parts in Kağıthane and Eyüp counties for rail way project was put to vote. The report was accepted by the members of the council.

The nostalgic train line which will extend from Kağıthane to Eyüp will reach the Blacksea coast by passing under Uzunkemer in the Kemerburgaz on Ağaçlı village and its other branch will reach the same point by passing in Belgrad Forest and Çiftalan village.
