According to the Research of Living Cost in 2016 carried out by Mercer, the most expensive city is defined.

According to the explanation from human resources management consulting firm Mercer, the researches of Search of Living Cost that are examined in five continents and 209 cities are resulted.

In the research based on New York that has 100 points, the natural disasters in the world, economic and politic fluctuations, mobility in exchange rates, the fluctuations in inflation and accommodation costs are taken into consideration in the data collection stage.

THE MOST AND THE LOWEST CITIES

According to the research results in which housing, transportations, food, clothing, house materials, entertainment and more than 200 features are examined comparatively in every city, the most expensive city is Hong Kong and the lowest cost of living belongs to Windhoek city of Namibia.

THE FIRST FIVEE

In the list Luanda, Zurich and Singapore follow Hong Kong respectively. Tokyo has raised 6 steps and become the 5th.

ISTANBUL GOES BACK

Existing in the 99th place in the last year’s research Istanbul goes back and becomes 101st in the list which means it is cheaper city compared to the last year.
