According to the survey titled "Average Age of Housing in Istanbul", the average age of residence in Istanbul is determined as 12, while Fatih comes with an average of 26 years at the beginning of the districts where the elderly houses are located .. Following the first four counties, Bakırköy, Beşiktaş and Kadıköy with 17 years, Bahcelievler with 16 years, Zeytinburnu with 14 years and Avcılar with 13 years are followed by 20 years with the highest number of districts with the highest residential age.

In Maltepe, Bayrampasa, Beykoz and Silivri, the average age of residence is 12 years.
