As of March 2017, the biggest sale of housing in Turkey in the last 5 years has been realized this month.
Compared to the same period of previous year, housing sales increased by 7.3 percent.

As of March, Emir Sezgin stated that house sales in Turkey increased by 7.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 325 thousand 780.
Leaders in the sale of housing were Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Bursa
By the end of March 2017, Emir Sezgin stated that the top 5 provinces with the highest number of residential sales were in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Bursa, respectively.
In Antalya, there is no change in the residential sales compared to the related period. Sezgin reported that the ranking has not changed compared to the same period of the previous year.

By the end of March 2017, 45 percent of the 325 thousand 780 units sold throughout Turkey were the 'first sales', meaning the first sale of the dwelling. This ratio is about 1 in every 2 houses.
Iraques sales speak out again
When residential sales made in foreign countries were analyzed, a total of 4,176 houses were sold abroad by the end of March 2017. Foreign-made sales decreased by 8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait citizens came to the top of the list of investors who sold the most houses.
