Vice President of the AK Party Vedat Demiröz made statements about the investments to be made to Bitlis. Demiröz stated that Bitlis's historical identity and cultural heritage as well as the unique beauty of Van Lake, Nemrut Crater Lake and the Seljuk Cemetery, which has no other example in the world, is a rare city with historical and natural beauty.
Bearing in mind that investments in education, health, transportation and agriculture have been made in order to move Bitlis to the right it deserves, Demiröz said:
"We have made an investment promise of 40 million liras to the result of negotiations with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and this investment will make a great contribution to both Bitlis and regional tourism.This year, the restoration of registered houses, the improvement of facades of unregistered houses, the preparation of Kureyasi Mosque street health project, the restoration of Bitlis Castle, the illumination of fortress walls, the opening of the entrance to the castle entrance, the new provincial public library with Seljuk architecture the restoration of the historical site, the service as a children's library, and the service of a traditional Bitlis house will all be appreciated. Demiröz noted that the work on the districts was carried out in the investment program of Ahlat, the restoration of old city center urban design and historical city doctrine, the restoration of the monuments in the district, the renovation of Ahlat and Adilcevaz quarters and the renovation of harabeşehir, illumination and landscaping.
